Christianity stands or falls with its revolutionary protest against violence, arbitrariness, and pride of power and

An All Saints Day Service of Prayer &
Song for Our Nation

On All Saints Day, Saturday, November
1, 2008 at 7:00 PM,
Christians from many churches and denominations
will come together at St. Mark’s Cathedral to reflect upon
the challenges facing our country as we prepare to participate
in the national election. We will join in prayer and song
as we remember the witness of saints, both ancient and modern,
who inspire and encourage us as we follow the One who proclaimed,
“The Spirit of the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor,
freedom for the prisoner, recovery of sight for the blind,

and release to the oppressed…”
St. Mark’s is located at 1245 10th Ave. E. For more information call
